Unity and Glory

This week I've gotten a late start on my blog. I have my reasons, but I also realized I want to be doing this more. So for me this means I need more pressure. I have decided to write shorter blogs more frequently. Not totally sure of the details yet since I am hurrying off to work at this point.
So on to the conversation:
What's important and on my heart this week? UNITY. It's a place tons of people could say we lack, but I see victory on the horizon. And when it comes the Church will shine like nobody has seen before. But I feel we do need to keep encouraging ourselves in this area and receive some blunt words.
Jesus is in Gethsemane and about to die, crying and sweating blood. He has one main request for the Father. Paraphrased from John 17, "Let all who come to Me now and in the future be one with You and with each other. You gave Me glory before We even made this world, and I have given that same glory to them for this purpose."
When our Lord was about to die, that's what was on His mind. He gave us His glory to accomplish unity, and our unity gives Him glory.
You know those times where a fighter goes to throw a punch, sees his opponent's punch coming at him, and so he leans back while throwing a punch? When a fighter can't tell his body to do one thing, his movements are useless. To move forward and backward at the same time leaves you stagnant. Your offense and your defense are neutralized.
This is what the Church is walking out of. We are moving into a place of true unity that says, "The Family is the most important thing." It's not the issues. We are moving out of a place where the people within keep struggling with the same issues and the people outside are left in the cold because we are too scared to go where they are. Singleness of mind, LOVE, is moving us into a strong place.
Please Help Me Out
I want to make sure I'm doing things that are helpful and fresh on my heart. Please help me out and give me feedback on The Spiritual Warrior Facebook Page as to different things you would like to see, hear, or experience. That could be a warrior's perspective on life and spirituality, it could be more community chat, it could be the mentioning of different products that you think would be helpful in training, life, or your walk with God.
I will be trying to make improvements on my page in the next week or so. Still trying to figure out how to add places to chat and leave comments, etc. But please help me serve you.
